Why stop at Carbon Neutral?
RABÚ Resort will be the most sustainable luxury resort in the world. The brand is inspired by the ancient Egyptian Sun God, Ra and Bamboo (BÚ), the fastest growing plant in the world. RABÚ is the first US based luxury hotel that is constructed with over 70% sustainable materials (mainly bamboo) with an earth first, sustainable operation (C02 negative) that lets our guests experience in the very best in earth-friendly luxury. RABÚ Resort will be a certified net negative carbon emissions facility giving more back to the earth then it takes. The resort is surrounded by 100 acres of working timber bamboo forest, which captures 5x more C02 compared to trees. Also, one-side of the bamboo pyramid structure, will house the solar panels which will provide the energy to operate the hotel.

The resort will feature a pyramid (40 stories high), which will stand alone in the Palm Beach area as a beacon of sustainability and luxury amongst the hospitality industry. The main feature of RABÚ will be the “Bamboo Nest”, from the ground to the top of the structure, housing the main spiral ramp (connecting all 40 levels and elevators), which is designed to let sun permeate throughout the center of the structure – connecting the sun with the earth and body. At the top of the pyramid, will sit the restaurant, bar and infinity pool. With view of the ocean in the distance, guests will be captivated by the beauty. Surrounding the pyramid, the bamboo grove and gardens invites guests to experience true tranquility by staying in one of our eco-lux bungalows each with private jacuzzis overlooking the river amongst the bamboo grove.
